Magic Tax – HMRC Planned Downtime Sat 14th – Mon 16th November 2020

Magic Tax will be out of action due to HMRC scheduled maintenance.

The downtime is due to HMRC planned downtime to the Making Tax Digital (MTD) VAT service.

This will mean that Magic Tax service will be unavailable during the dates and times shown below:

Saturday, 14th November 2020 from 16:30

until

Monday, 16th November 2020 at 17:00

The reason for this downtime is because Magic Tax relies on the HMRC system being operational – and during this period customers will be unable to carry out any of the following on the HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD) VAT system:

  • submit Returns
  • view previous submissions and payment details
  • set up or cancel and amend existing direct debits
  • sign up for Making Tax Digital
