Hampshire Marie Curie Nurse Manager, Fiona recently visited the KFA offices to meet the Magic Tax team!
The visit is great timing as the word spreads of how easy companies are finding Magic Tax bridging software to file their VAT returns and comply with HMRC’s new Making Tax Digital legislation, which came into effect this April.
It was great to meet Fiona and hear about how important the Marie Curie support is to individuals with a terminal illness and their families.
While she was with us, Fiona told us how she loves her job…
Fiona Brown, Clinical Nurse Manager – Marie Curie
I’ve loved getting to know patients on a more personal level, which you often don’t get time to do in a hospital.”
It’s really important that everyone living with a terminal illness gets access to care and support right from the point of diagnosis, allowing them to live well until they die.
Many people miss out on palliative care because they don’t realise that help is out there and that Marie Curie supports people with any terminal diagnosis”
Fiona is shown here with KFA Connect’s New Business Director, Richard Austin. KFA Connect have designed and developed Magic Tax with the sole purpose of raising as much as possible for the charity and hopefully helping businesses to comply with Making Tax Digital in the process! It’s FREE to sign-up and use, quick, easy and HMRC recognised.
The charity also runs an information line, which is available for anyone who has a question about any aspect of terminal illness, including clinical information.
They can call the Marie Curie Information & Support Line free on 0800 090 2309 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/help
You can sign up to Magic Tax here – the bridging solution is completely free, we just ask that any company who finds the solution useful considers making a voluntary donation to Marie Curie.
