Important HMRC MTD VAT Maintenance Notice
HMRC has scheduled essential maintenance for the Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT system from Saturday, 13th December 2025 at 16:00 until Monday, 15th December 2025 at 09:30.
During this period, there will be temporary service downtime, and HMRC’s online VAT services will be unavailable.

As Magic Tax relies on the HMRC MTD (VAT) system being operational, our service will also be impacted by this scheduled downtime.
The Magic Tax platform will be temporarily inaccessible between:
Saturday, 13th December 2025 at 16:00 – Monday, 15th December 2025 at 09:30

During the maintenance window:
- Access to HMRC MTD (VAT) accounts will be temporarily unavailable.
- We strongly recommend that Magic Tax users avoid attempting to log in or file VAT submissions during this period to prevent any disruptions.
